How is GBE Brokers regulated?
As a CySEC regulated broker operating under the MiFID Directive, GBE Brokers is committed to ensuring that you benefit from the highest levels of client fund security at all times. GBE Brokers are licensed and regulated (registration number 240/14) by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) – one of the most prominent global financial regulatory authorities.
In addition, GBE Brokers is registered with the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) – the financial supervisory authority in Germany – at its Hamburg office (registration number 148129). GBE Brokers also has an FCA registration. As a company regulated in a European Economic Area (EEA) country, GBE Brokers offers financial products or services in the United Kingdom (UK) under its registration with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) – the UK Financial Services Authority (reference number: 717554). Registration status: EEA Authorised.
GBE Brokers also operates under the European Union’s Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID), which provides the highest level of protection for investors and optimizes the functioning of markets in terms of efficiency and transparency.
As an additional layer of security, GBE Brokers is a member of the Investor Compensation Fund (ICF), which ensures up to 20,000 EUR of eligible customer claims in the unlikely event that a broker defaults on payment.
What types of accounts are available?
There are two account types at GBE Brokers:
- GBE Traditional
- GBE Raw
The traditional GBE account type is the best choice if you prefer to trade on a spread basis and not pay extra commissions. On the other hand, if you are looking for fixed market transaction costs for your trading strategy, the GBE Raw account type is the choice. This account type is therefore ideal for EAs and for scalping.
Switching between accounts is possible at any time free of charge.
MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5
At GBE Brokers the MetaTrader 4 is available. The MT4 can be downloaded for Windows, MAC, iOS, and Android. The MT4 VPS is also available. VPS (Virtual Private Server) hosting allows Forex traders to run automated algorithmic strategies, including Expert Advisors, 24 hours a day, 5 days a week on a virtual machine in a data center (server).
The key advantage is that you don’t have to keep your own computer running around the clock at home, and you don’t have to rely on your own Internet or power connection to keep the VPS running – as this is guaranteed by the VPS provider. With a minimum turnover of 100 lots per month, GBE Brokers offers its customers a free VPS at the Equinix LD4 data center in London.
Currently MetaTrader 5 is not available at GBE Brokers.

How are deposits and withdrawals made?
GBE Brokers offers a choice of reputable and trustworthy payment methods. For deposits and withdrawals, leading payment gateways, credit card payments and traditional bank transfers are available.
Deposits are deposited in a secure, segregated account with a first class banking institution. Customer funds are kept completely separate from corporate funds, and the two never mix.
Wirecard Bank Deutschland, Astro Bank Cyprus, and Sutor Bank Deutschland cooperate in the bank transfer process. The deposit period here is 1-4 bank working days. Withdrawals are also free of charge as long as they are made in euro currency within the SEPA zone. For all other withdrawal requests GBE Brokers charges 0.15% of the withdrawn amount with a minimum of 15 EUR / 20 USD / 20 CHF.
Withdrawals by credit card and Neteller/Skrill are usually made on the same day. For credit card and Neteller/Skrill, however, there are fees for both deposits and withdrawals. A margin of 10% is due to commodities and energies. For equities, the highest margin is currently due. Here the margin is 20%.
Is there positive slippage?
At GBE Brokers it is in the interest of GBE Brokers to at least reduce executions with negative slippage.
GBE Broker is a good broker and meets the most important criteria that a Forex and CFD broker should meet. The support is also competent and always easy to reach. Since the MetaTrader and some additional tools are also available, trading is also fast and relatively uncomplicated. Execution and pricing also seem to be fair.
There are also no re-quotes at GBE Brokers. Another positive aspect is that there is no bonus for new clients. Because experience shows that this does not bring the customer any long-term advantage. The only thing that is still expandable is that at the moment there is no MetaTrader 5 available and that there is no tool to determine the position size for trading CFDs.
Otherwise, GBE Brokers is, as far as we can tell, a serious and recommendable Forex and CFD broker.
